Landscape AND ECOLOGICAL Management Plans (LEMP)

This report, prepared by in-house Landscape Architects, details the landscape and ecological management of the proposed development.

The report will detail the management of different existing or proposed landscape features within the site that are of benefit to habitat creation.

The report details the maintenance operation of each feature, usually for an initial maintenance period of 2 years to ensure good establishment of new tree planting, ornamental planting, hedgerows, and grass/turf and its maintenance within open space areas and areas for habitat creation.

This will typically be followed by an establishment period covering years 3 to 5. Long-term management proposals will be included for years 6 to 30 (the maturing phase) based on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) guidance.
